Lots of darker cherry and currant fruits as well as ample minerality, new leather, and scorched earth notes all emerge from this medium to full-bodied, concentrated classic cuvée that has plenty of ripe tannins, the freshness and acidity of the vintage, terrific balance, and the class to evolve for two decades.

Tasted blind. Attractive vibrant nose with zippy dark fruits and sweet fragrant tobacco notes. Firm and fine chalky tannins with a warming ripe mouthfeel but underpinned by good acidity and freshness.
