  • Vineyard Profile

    • Châteauneuf-du-Pape is characterized by the diversity of its soils, with a mosaic of plots where different varieties grow together on limestone rock, round pebbles on a clay substrate with varying amounts of iron, and fine sedimentary sand.

  • Vintage Report

    • 2019 vintage is in line with the top vintages of the decade. After a nice winter, spring came slowly, helped by our famous “Mistral” wind, allowing vegetation to grow healthily. The last week of June, Rhône Valley vineyards had to face a heat wave with temperatures above 45°C (113 °F).

Fortunately, our biodynamic sprays of horn dungs, silicas, chamomiles, nettles and essential oils, combined with the good water reserve of the soils from 2018, helped the vines to continue their development in the best way. Thanks to gentle rains in August and September we were able to pick beautiful, healthy and balanced grapes.

  • Vinification

    • The grapes are hand-picked and sorted in the vineyard. Long, gentle pressing, co-fermentation and maturing in stainless steel vats, small foudres and oak barrels for 6 months.

  • Technical Information

    • Varietal Composition: A blend of the 6 white grape varieties of the appellation. (Clairette blanche & Rose, Grenache Blanc & Gris, Bourboulenc, Roussanne, Picpoul and Picardan).
    • Alcohol: 13.5%
  • Tasting Notes

    • This wine symbolizes our love for white Châteauneuf-du-Pape. We find delicate floral notes, a fresh texture and crisp, juicy fruit with a saline finish. Just like a walk in our a Provençal garden.

  • Domaine de Beaurenard Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc — 2019 – Wine Spectator – 91 Points

A bright, high-pitched style, with makrut lime, green apple and green melon flavors laced with a jasmine note. A subtle mineral edge provides balance on the finish.
