  • Vineyard Profile

    • The collection plot is one of family tradition. Between 1998 and 2005, the best strains of the Domaine de Beaurenard old vines were carefully selected. In 2006, the rootstocks were planted, and by 2008, the collection plot was born. A mixed varietal plot, with each variety planted interspersed, following ancestral tradition and worked by hand and by horse.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape is characterized by the diversity of its soils, with a mosaic of plots where different varieties grow together on limestone rock, round pebbles on a clay substrate with varying amounts of iron, and fine sedimentary sand.

  • Vinification

    • The grapes are hand-picked and sorted in the vineyard. The fruit from the collection plot is then blended with fruit from the old mother vines, from which the original grafts were taken. Co-fermentation in tapered wooden vats with only native yeast naturally present on the grapes. Matured for 24 months in conical wooden vats, foudres and barrels.
