The vines grow on limestone-rich soils, which provide excellent drainage and contribute to the wine’s minerality and elegance. These vineyards stretch across varying altitudes, from classic mid-elevations to heights of up to 600 meters in the southern part of the region, where the cooler mountain temperatures allow the grapes to ripen slowly, preserving their natural acidity and enhancing their aromatic complexity.
