Elena Walch
Lagrein Alto Adige DOC
A mainstay variety in Northern Italy, Lagrein thrives in the sunny vineyards of Alto Adige. Known for its deep color and full body, this wine showcases the best aspects of the variety due to the careful cultivation among the slopes of the estate, and the harvest employed by Elena Walch.
Sites with warmer temperatures, located on limestone soils mixed with clay and sand on both sides of the ridge, facing both southeast and southwest. Strict selection is applied.

Our Lagrein Elena Walch shines with an intense, dense garnet-red hue. The bouquet is complex and inviting, revealing subtle spice, cocoa, and notes of wild berries and sweet cherry. On the palate, a firm tannin structure meets smooth richness, combining rustic elegance with youthful freshness and a long, juicy finish.

"Brambly herb, spice and mocha aromas lace the dark and juicy core of blackberry and mulberry fruit flavors in this vivid red. Concentrated and focused in a balanced, medium-bodied frame, with lively, plum skin acidity and light, supple tannins."
