Esprit Leflaive
Beaune Premier Cru Les Épenottes
A selection of unique wines, Esprit Leflaive was born in the 2018 vintage. At the crossroads of fabulous terroirs from Burgundy and an expertise in Chardonnay and Pinot
Noir, Esprit Leflaive ventures beyond the Côte de Beaune and the Mâconnais, to Chablis and the Côte de Nuits, to explore the wider Burgundy.
Les Epenottes is a highly regarded, small Premier Cru vineyard situated on a deep slope adjacent to the famed Pommard Epenots vineyard, sharing a similar terroir, but with a softer, more approachable profile.

Wine of a beautiful scarlet red. The nose presents beautiful notes of red fruits. The palate is mineral and structured but without astringency.

"This red is bright and juicy, with a crunchy feel to its cherry, raspberry, rose, sandalwood and spice aromas and flavors. Silky and impeccably balanced, this extends the flavors for close to a minute on the fruit- and savory-filled aftertaste."
