Chardonnay Moon Dust Vineyard Russian River Valley
Sourced from the 4 acre, organically grown, estate vineyard. The 2 unique clones ferment seperately, and the wine remains on its original lees until just prior to bottling. The wine then spends 14 months in a mix of new, once used and neutral French oak barrels.

The aroma jumps out of the glass with notes of hazlenut, toast, tarragon, and Meyer lemon. Is the wine sour and fresh or rich and creamy? It is both! The taste is full of flavors like brioche, brown butter, toasted pinenuts, tarragon, and warm lemon tart. The finish is long, rich, and bright.

"The nose of this Chardonnay erupts from the glass with aromas of candied lemon peel, nectarine, lemon balm, white peppercorn, and fresh flowers. The palate is silky textured and vibrant with lemony acidity framing flavors of Gala apple, chalky minerality, orange blossom, and echoes of ginger and thyme across the long finish. Delicious now, this will soften nicely in the cellar for ten years or more"

"A brighter straw hue, the 2023 Chardonnay Moon Dust Vineyard is aromatic with creamed oats, corn kernel, yellow citrus, and nutty richness throughout. Full-bodied and broad on the palate, it nevertheless carries more freshness and energy than expected, balancing its richer textural profile beautifully."
