Vintage Report
-
2017 was an excellent growing year and flavours came early which allowed us to pick the grapes at slightly lower sugar levels than normal resulting in elegant, concentrated wines. The harvest commenced late March and continued into April.
-
-
Vinification
-
The grapes were gently pressed before fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation was conducted at low temperatures (12-14C) to retain the wines strong and appealing aromatics.

Intensely aromatic and lively with flavours of passionfruit and guava underpinned with aromas of fresh herbs and blackcurrant this is a great wine to enjoy as an aperitif, or match with seafoods. The palate is vibrant with zingy fruit that is balanced with a long, crisp mineral finish.

This wine shows soft lime and stone fruit characters that mingle with snow pea, jalapeño and a little wet stone minerality. On the palate it's focused and texturally interesting, with balanced acidity, lime zest and a salty edge.

“Lemony fresh, this brisk white carries notes of tarragon and a hint of crunchy green pepper. Citrusy acidity keeps it bright and cleansing, as if the flavors were lifted by a sea breeze. A perfect pairing for picnics and creamy goat cheese.”
