Vineyard Profile

FRENZY Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from selected vineyards located in New Zealand’s famous Marlborough region, which is ideally suited to this varietal. The soil is composed of volcanic Greywacke stones and alluvial river silt.

Vintage Report

2020 has produced a ‘classic’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The growing season was perfect with a long, warm, dry summer and minimal rain prior to harvest. Harvest began in the first week of March and was completed two weeks later. The resulting wine is fruit-driven and concentrated, complemented by strong aromatics. This is a great example of one of Marlborough’s best vintages for some time.

Vinification

The grapes were gently pressed before fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation was conducted at low temperatures (12-14C) to retain the wines strong and appealing aromatics.
