Reviews

  • Scipio, Toscana IGT – 2013 – 90 points – Wine & Spirits

" ... Notes of espresso and Mexican chocolate picked up during two years in French oak barriques (40 percent new) and the tight, chewy tannins suggest the wine will benefit from a few years in the cellar.”

  • Scipio, Toscana IGT – 2013 – 90 points – Wine Enthusiast

“Made entirely from Cabernet Franc, this offers blueberry, cedar and bell pepper aromas. The palate is juicy, full of red currant, vanilla and Mediterranean herb flavors, held firm with polished tannins and a tart finish. Drink through 2022.”
