“The 2017 Chardonnay Sigrid is very reductive on the nose, which could be polarizing. The medium-bodied palate is much more open at this stage, offering a deep core of apple fruit and soft, tertiary character. Its concentration and gently grippy texture are balanced by bright acidity, and it has a long, savory finish. It will benefit from a long decant.”
