Tenuta Sette Cieli
Yantra Toscana IGT
The name Yantra (yawn-tra) is Sanskrit for "instrument" or "machine." A Yantra is mandala - a map, chart or geometric pattern which is often used to reference geometrical drawings used in the Indian mystical tradition. What makes Yantra unique is its careful blending of two iconic varietals, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, in the heart of Tuscany, combined with sustainable, organic farming practices that honor the land. The result is a wine that speaks to the terroir’s depth and character while offering an approachable, yet sophisticated drinking experience.

2023
"Made from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot grown on higher elevation vines, the 2023 Yantra was aged in 4-, 5-, and 6-year-old barrels. Pouring a youthful magenta hue, its nose is floral and inviting, with aromas of fresh violets, mixed berries, and wet stones. Medium-bodied, it has more verticality, fine tannins, and a refreshing, approachable feel. A total charmer, it’s also a great value and a good option for by-the-glass programs. It will be highly versatile at the table. Drink over the next several years."
