“A fruity rosé Champagne, this is fresh with a fine touch of red-currants. It does have a little bottle aging, with a yeasty ripeness. The wine has bright acidity at the end.”

“Offers up hints of apricot, brioche, baked apple tart, white pepper, chamomile and dried flowers. Extended time on the lees yields terrific flavor and textural complexity. This is an especially deep, vinous Champagne from Gosset.”

“This is terrific. Bright and intensely floral, the 2015 bristles with all the energy that is such a signature of the Gosset house style. White flowers, mint and crushed flowers open first. The 2015 is distinguished by its sweet, resonant mid-palate and terrific depth. All the elements are so nicely balanced throughout.”

"The initial nose is quite shy, but coaxing reveals a character expressing white fruit such as pear and spring flowers enhanced by pastry and citrusy notes. The palate has a suave, even mouthcoating texture and remarkable depth that is beautifully sustained by chalky salinity and a gorgeous grapefruit taste."

“Offering beautiful freshness and purity, with cherry blossom, grapefruit, and pastry crust, and it has a pillowy mousse and a bit more tension through the back end, with a refreshing lift of acidity. A very attractive wine.”

Grand Blanc de Blancs Brut – Non-Vintage

The Wine Advocate

The latest rendition of Gosset's NV Brut Grand Blanc de Blancs reveals youthful aromas of citrus zest, white flowers and almond paste. Medium to full-bodied, bright and fleshy, with tangy acids and a pillowy mousse, it concludes with chalky grip. This Champagne's structure suggests that it should develop gracefully in the cellar.

Notes of tangerine, peach, white flowers and wheat toast preface the latest rendition of Gosset's NV Brut Grand Rosé, a medium to full-bodied, pillowy and charming wine with a fleshy core of fruit, chalky structure and tangy acids. Elegantly vinous and flavorful, it's a fine success.

Aromas of crips orchard fruit, pear and apricot, mingled with hints of fresh bread and pastry, introduce the latest release of Gosset's NV Brut Grande Réserve, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy but incisive wine that's deceptively generous but also structured to reward some bottle age.

A rich rosé in a vinous style, with steeped raspberry and black cherry fruit flavors and an aromatic overtone of whole grain toast, crystallized honey and salted almond. Fine and creamy in texture, with a firm backbone of well-knit acidity creating a mouthwatering impression on the lightly chalky, herb- and spice-laced finish.

Bright and graceful, this leads on the nose with racy chalk and smoke notes, a minerally underpinning for delicate flavors of Gala apple, blanched almond, fleur de sel and pickling ginger. Seamless and fresh, with a long finish.

A minerally rosé Champagne with a crisp, lacy mousse, this is tightly meshed and balanced, offering a finely detailed range of crunchy white peach, spun honey, pink grapefruit pith and ground ginger. Creamy and lingering on the chalk-tinged finish.

The nose opens with the fresh ripeness of yellow apple and highlights of Granny Smith. It has beautifully subtle autolysis on the palate, deepening into notes of creamy apple crumble, Golden Delicious and Mirabelle plum, while remaining utterly strait-laced. Elegance, length and absolute freshness are inherent and quietly convincing.

A reserved but elegant nose evidences a touch of maturity while offering up yeasty aromas of green apple and quinine. The equally elegant middle weight flavors are supported by a refined but intense mousse, all wrapped in a sappy, complex and relatively dry finale, indeed it’s drier than the stated dosage would suggest. This lovely effort could easily be enjoyed now or held for a few more years.

A restrained, and very cool nose reflects an abundance of citrus influence along with notes of green apple and yeast nuances. The refined and vibrant medium weight flavors are supported by a firm and refined effervescence before concluding in a bitter lemon-inflected finish. This attractively stylish effort is perhaps not as complex as the best in the range, but I quite like the delivery.
