This too is quite aromatically discreet with its Meyer lemon, brioche, green apple and yeasty nose.There is excellent intensity to the wonderfully fine flavors that combine power with finesse, all wrapped in a crisp, very dry and notably more complex finale. This is terrific and a wine that could be enjoyed now or held for further development.

Oeil de perdrix tint. Once again,the nose is quite restrained with its wisps of strawberry, raspberry, cherry and yeasty hints.The racy and refined medium-bodied flavors possess a lovely texture that is reinforced by the fine but firm citrus-tinged mousse that carries over to the clean and notably dry but not really austere finale. This too could use better depth, but it still is quite lovely.

A cool, ultra-pure and exceptionally pretty nose combines notes of green apple, floral, citrus peel and plenty of yeast influence. The equally elegant, pure and refined middle weight flavors are supported by a firm but fine mousse,all wrapped in a wonderfully long finish that is shaped by tangy citrus-tinged acidity. This is really lovely stuff that will need a few years of bottle aging to fully flesh out. Extremely promising.

Once again, the nose is very restrained if admirably elegant and pure while revealing cool red berries, especially raspberry and cherry, along with wisps of brioche and pink grapefruit. The graceful yet quite intense flavors are supported by a strikingly refined effervescence that contributes to the overall sense of finesse on the moderately complex and agreeably dry finale. This lovely effort has reached a drink or hold stage

Gosset's NV Brut Grand Millésime offers a terrific expression of the year in its toasted, open-knit personality. Pastry, orchard fruit, spice and light tropical accents all grace this translucent, alluring Champagne from Gosset. The 2012 has plenty of the energy Gosset fans will expect, but slightly softer contours that make the wine easy to drink and enjoy upon release.

The 2007 Extra-Brut Vintage Celebris is a great example of the house style. Powerful and rich, the 2007 possesses tremendous vinous intensity, buffered by low dosage that gives the wine ts sense if classic austerity. Orchard fruit, apricot, tangerine oil and white flowers develop with a bit of coaxing. The Celebris is a big, broad-shouldered Champagne for the dinner table.

The most subtle lemony cloud hovers above a certain chalkiness on the nose. Utter subtlety also characterises the super-svelte palate that is as light as a feather, yet conveys great depth and creamy softness. The freshness seems buffered by chalk, the mousse serves to remind you that this is actually Champagne, so breezy, so light, so elegant is this. A wonderful combination of depth and weightlessness.

Aged for at least 12 years after bottling, this Champagne is richly textured, showing mature fruitiness, touches of aging from the brioche flavors and an elegant, ripe aftertaste.

A finely textured Chardonnay, this is ripe and crisp with acidity, minerality and hints of nuttiness from bottle age. From the Côte des Blancs, the fruit in this Champagne has given a pure line of acidity and total textured freshness.

Heading towards dryness, this pale-colored rosé Champagne is also rich. Its red-currant and crisp apple flavors are laced with citrus zest to give a wine that has fine balance.

There is some fine bottle age on this cuvée. It has delicious delicate toastiness that still leaves room for the apple and white peach flavors. With its style, the Champagne is perfectly ready to drink.

Based on the 2006 vintage and disgorged in December 2019, the inaugural release of Gosset's new NV Brut 12 Ans de Cave a Minima wafts from the glass with a lovely bouquet of candied peel, warm biscuits, yellow orchard fruit and brioche. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, it's bright and incisive, with beautifully integrated acids, a delicate pinpoint mousse and a long, sapid finish. Gosset's racy style has really synergized with the ripe vintage and long sur lattes maturation to make for a very successful cuvée

The deep golden colour promises the richness that nose and palate duly deliver. The first sniff reveals rounded generosity reminiscent of shortbread, further swirling brings yellow apple with overtones of ripe apricot. That apple and apricot combo settles into a mid-palate mellowness, edged and enlivened by smooth bubbles that frame all this richness with their welcome freshness. Indeed, the wine works as an indulgent aperitif but comes into its own with food.”

Lightly mouthwatering, with citrus peel acidity and a tang of salinity, layered with flavors of toasted nut, crunchy pear, ground coffee and preserved lemon. Crisp and minerally up front, this is finely meshed and mouthwatering, lightly chalky in texture and offering flavors of ripe black currant, lemon pith and pastry dough. Floral and spice notes play on the lasting finish. Drink now through 2029. 216 cases imported.

Gosset's 2006 Grand Millésime Brut is still on the market, and the wine is very open and expressive by the house's standards, bursting from the glass with notes of crisp but sun-kissed yellow orchard fruit, pear, clear honey and warm biscuits. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, broad and creamy, with a fleshy, generous profile that's balanced by brisk acids and enlivened by a delicate pinpoint mousse, concluding with a subtly chalky finish.

Based on the 2016 vintage and disgorged in September 2019, the new release of Gosset's NV Brut Grand Blanc de Blancs (which will arrive in the US later this year) unwinds in the glass with notes of citrus oil, warm biscuits, green apple and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, deep and tightly wound, it's racy and incisive, with a bright spine of acidity, chalky structure and a long, penetrating finish. As ever, this cuvée emphasizes Chardonnay from the Montagne de Reims.

Based on the 2014 vintage, the new release of Gosset's NV Brut Grand Rosé is still quite tightly wound after its recent disgorgement in November 2019, unwinding in the glass with aromas of orange rind, crisp orchard fruit and warm biscuits. Medium to full-bodied, deep and muscular, it's bright and chalky, with racy acids and notable phenolic structure, complemented by a pinpoint mousse. It will really begin to show all its cards after a few years on cork.

Wafting from the glass with a generous bouquet of golden orchard fruit, dried white flowers, beeswax and fresh pastry, the new release of Gosset's NV Brut Grande Réserve is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and generous. Though it retains the house's signature incisive acids, it's unusually textural and enveloping out of the gates.

A pale-pink rosé, this has shades of raspberries, rosehips and rhubarb touching the earthy limestone scent of Champagne. It’s concentrated and lasting, with a clean quinine bitterness that will pair well with sashimi.
